Old Town Celebrates 33 Years of Classic Cars March 18 With Full Day Celebration

Old Town, an iconic walking district of shops, food, entertainment and events for more than 34 years, is celebrating 33 years of the Saturday Nite Classic Car Show and Cruise on Saturday, March 18. The day-long celebration from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. features live entertainment, giveaways, Car Cruise at 8:30 p.m. and more.

Recognized as America’s longest running weekly car show, the Saturday Nite Classic Car Show and Cruise has been a weekend tradition every Saturday for the past 33 years.  Guests are invited to drive down memory lane as Old Town welcomes show-quality 1985 and older hot rods, street rods, and antiques.

Cars are on display during the day with a cruise down Old Town’s brick main street at 8:30 p.m. every Saturday.  The Main Street stage features live entertainment all night long.

“We are excited to celebrate this year’s 33rd Anniversary Car Show & Cruise and recognize the car owners who have helped keep Old Town’s title of America’s longest running weekly car show,” says Thearon Scurlock, Old Town Vice President and General Manager.  “Old Town continues to offer great, free family-friendly events and is perfect for car enthusiasts and admirers of all ages.”

Old Town is host to a Classic Car Show and Cruise every Saturday all year long.  It’s a free event for car owners to participate and spectators to enjoy.  For more information, visit Old Town’s website at www.myoldtownusa.com.
