A weekend at Hilton Bonnet Creek and the Waldorf Orlando

This past weekend, we enjoyed a staycation at Hilton Bonnet Creek to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday. Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is situated on 482 acres of nature preserve surrounded by Walt Disney World® Resort. The property is adjacent to Waldorf Astoria Orlando, and across the street from Wyndham Grand Orlando Bonnet Creek (where we stayed in April).

We made our overnight reservation about three weeks prior and requested a "fireworks view" room.  Two days before our arrival, I was able to "check in" on the Hilton app. At this time I requested extra towels and pillows.

We arrived earlier than expected on Saturday morning. I was pleasantly surprised that our room was ready! We were placed on the 14th floor (Room 1465). Water stations were set up outside of the elevator on our floor. Such a nice touch.

Since we are a family of four, we requested a room with two double beds.
The beds were nice & comfortable.

Crabtree & Evelyn bath amenities are supplied in the room.

A large 37-inch high-definition flat-screen television and a pull-out desk were part of our room.

Of course, we had room service! The chocolate covered strawberries were amazing.

NOW THIS IS WHY WE CHOSE HILTON BONNET CREEK:
The 3-acre resort-style pool featuring a lazy river and water slide!

Plenty of floats are available for guests at no charge, as well as pool towels.

The lazy river is just amazing and we spent most of our time at the pool.
During the day we enjoyed foods and drinks from Beech, the poolside bar & grill.

Several restaurants are on site. My favorite was MYTH bar (an indoor/outdoor screened bar off of the lobby). We spent an hour there enjoying pre-dinner snacks and drinks.

For dinner, we met a group of folks at Zeta Asia. The staff was amazing. They answered our questions thoroughly and made sure we were all satisfied with our selections.

After dinner, the kids changed back into swimsuits and we went outside to watch a movie
...yes, WHILE FLOATING IN THE POOL!  (Meet the Robinsons was the flick on our visit.)

Sunday morning we went downstairs to Muse, a coffee bar and bakery for a light breakfast.  We checked out around 10:00am, and headed to Disney for brunch. (While we didn't use the service, Hilton Bonnet Creek does offer complimentary luxury motorcoach transportation to and from Walt Disney World® Resort and Disney Springs.)

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hilton Bonnet Creek and plan to go back! The service was great; the lazy river is amazing; and there are plenty of dining options.
