By all means, I am not a Martha Stewart-type. I would prefer to buy then to try to make, but when I decided to throw a New Year's Day brunch (for both adults and kids) hubby threw a budget on me! (BOO!) I looked online (love me some Pinterest!) and found some really cute DIY decorations.
I knew that I wanted a Black and White theme, and since my walls are painted a green color, I chose that as the accent color.
I made party poppers, filled with candy for the kids.

I failed to get pictures of my main table where I served brunch (Traditional ham, mini-quiches, mac and cheese, and fruit kabobs). Everyone had a great time, and the best part was the New Year's Toast given my hubby to our guests!
HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL!
