Review: Chicken Guy at Disney Springs
A month ago I told you about a new flagship restaurant opening up at Disney Springs by Guy Fieri and Robert Earl called Chicken Guy.
Well, it's now open so my family and I headed over to Chicken Guy yesterday to see if it lived up to the hype!
The line gets quite long so I suggest you get there at opening, 11am...
or go on an off hour like the middle of the afternoon.
There is limited indoor seating, but lots of outdoor seating.
We ordered a 3-piece grilled combo meal (fries and coke).
Along with the 5-piece fried tenders and a side of mac & cheese.
The total was under $25 which was great for a family of four.
My son is a healthy eater. Unlike most kids, he hates the artificial flavor of a boxed Mac & Cheese. He prefers a good homemade recipe. I decided to let him try the first bite of the Chicken Guy's Mac & Cheese -- and he really enjoyed it! He commented that the bread crumbs on top were a hit.
My daughter is my picky eater and she loved the fried tenders.
Personally, I enjoyed the grilled tenders. They were moist and flavorful.
The 20+ sauces is what makes this new place different from others in my opinion.
I loved the Garlic Parmesan, whereas my hubby enjoyed the Special sauce.
So have you tried it yet? What did you think?
